Leone 'Old Vine' Sparkling Shiraz

The Leone 2007 ‘Old Vine’ Sparkling Shiraz is made from 100 year old vines planted in 1907 and has the aroma of ripe fruits, currants and plums. Delicate fruits of the forest with subtle hints of mulberry and cherry, rolling into a full complex flavoured palate with a touch of oak and soft balanced tannic finish. There is also a touch of ‘port’ sweetness to the palate that with age will soften. Serve as an aperitif or with your favourite cheeses.
